A HUGE THANK YOU
Mike Peters, Chair and Trustee of Love Hope Strength
Foundation UK recently took part in Everest Rocks and has broken
the Guinness Book of Records for the highest gig which took part
at Everest Base Camp. Other artists who took part were Slim Jim
Phantom, Nick Harper, Glenn Tilbrook, Cy Curnin and Jamie West-Oram.
The Love Hope Strength Foundation UK would like
to say a huge thank you for all your support during Mike's epic
adventure. The two UK fundraising campaigns for the dedication flags
and song requests raised £3267.52 (including gift aid).
We would like to thank everyone who donated and
also the people who took part in Everest Rocks.
Shortly we will upload some of the photos of
the dedication flags which were planted at Base Camp and a sample
photo can be seen below.
A DVD of the requests songs will be released
shortly and details will follow soon.
