Your Chance to Vote for Your Favourite Alarm/Mike Peters Song

Mike is also asking for fans to vote for the top twenty Alarm songs that Mike should perform along the way to the Highest Gig....... Mike will attempt to record the most voted for songs in order to produce a commemorative CD documenting this historic event which will be released as soon as possible after his homecoming on October 31st 2007.

Along with being able to vote for your favourite song your name will also feature on the credits of the Everest album.

Accompanying Mike will be world renowned musicians Glenn Tilbrook (Squeeze), Slim Jim Phantom (Stray Cats), Nick Harper, Cy Curnin and Jamie Oram-West (The Fixx). This mighty challenge has attracted worldwide media attention in recent weeks and you will be able to follow the entire trek on a daily basis at www.everestrocks.com. Alex Coletti (MTV) and his production team will be broadcasting onto the internet via podcasts every day featuring news from the trek and music performances as and when they occur.....

The entire adventure is dedicated to raising funding to support the Nepalese Cancer Centre in Bhaktapur. As usual with Love Hope Strength events, all money raised will stay within the locale to support the frontline battle against cancer. It is hoped that in this way any funding raised will be able to help save peoples' lives straight away.
